I'm not dead yet!

I have had a very lazy week so far and have enjoyed it a lot! It was my birthday on Wednesday and I became member of the Wii owners club – what took us so long? Well now I can prove that I am useless as virtual sports as well as at the real thing!

In the evening we went to see this.

It is brilliant – if you find Monry Python even vaguely amusing you will find this really funny. We had a great evening and coming home our sides hurt with laughing – and no we are not dead yet!

I have been feeling a little unfocussed this week so I decided yesterday to make myself a nice book to write my to do lists in. Does anyone else feel lost without a to do list? I am odd to feel pleased that I lasted almost a week without one :-/

Anyway I took a little notebook I have had for a while and covered the front and back with some very pretty turquoise and red papers – one of my favourite combinations at the moment! Inside I have put some diary pages printed from my computer and mounted on more of the papers. The pages that follow will be my to do lists. The papers are from Stampin' Up!

Don’t forget there is a special offer on Stampin' Up! Papers this month – order three packs and get the fourth for free. If you combine this with my Post and Packing Party offer you will also get your packs of paper delivered to you free. The papers are beautiful, good and heavy and fantastic to work with – you can see the full range by clicking on the picture of the catalogue on the right of this blog and turning to pages 72 and 73.

I have also made a card this week – we have a friend who is in hospital and this is to wish her well.
The Stamps used are from the Stampin' Up! Roses in Winter Collection. They were coloured with my Stampin' Up! Marker Pens which meant I could use more than one colour on each of the stamps in the smaller roses, still giving them a really nice depth. The colours used are Perfect Plumb, Pale Plumb, Pretty in Pink and Sage Shadow. The ribbon was originally white but the markers soon changed that!

I hope you are having a great week too. Thanks for stopping by.
